Not sure why I’m quoting from Bread and Jam for Frances as my subject line, but it’s what came out of my fingers. I think what I really want to say is “What I am is tired of moving/change/hauling crap around,” but it doesn’t have as nice a ring ( Read more... )

Thank you! Now I'd like another weekend straight away, please, so I can sleep a lot more and unpack. Oh, and get my home computer working again.

Functional home computers are very, very good to have. *nods*

Things here go well. I'm starting to get kind of giddy because in a little over a month, Jon and I will be in Monterey for five days, just the two of us. It's our early 10th-anniversary present to ourselves. (Our anniversary isn't until October.) It should be very, very fun. :)

Ooh, Monterey in the summer will be beautiful. Didn't you go there on your honeymoon (or was it another trip)? Nice revisit!

Glad to hear things are going well. Still no home phone or DSL for me. Grr.

You have a good memory. We did, indeed, honeymoon in Monterey, and then we returned there a few years later. We haven't been back since 2001, though.

Boo hiss on the lack of your home phone/DSL. When will that get straightened out?
