Plot, plot, fizz, fizz, oh what a relief it is

I'm a little worried about using the word "epiphany" here, lest I jinx myself. In fact, I should probably just continue to keep my mouth mostly shut about it, but I can't help myself. Because last night as I was driving to meet Debbie for coffee, a few things clicked in my brain and I could suddenly see the shape of a sequel to "Mockingbird ( Read more... )

I have to say I felt great glee reading the first part of this post. I hope you do write a sequel as I know many would want to read. *totally fangirls you* And I'm sure we can be patient for however long it takes because obviously you've got quite a full plate of things to do. I'm crossing absolutely everything that is crossable that you do take up this challenge.

Between your everything-crossing and your icon's brain powerz, I'm not sure how I can resist. It's definitely shaping up in my brain, but, wow. An undertaking, to put it mildly. Surely I can find my discipline again, though. I should go hunt that down. :-)

Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Last night I figured it out. Or, like, 70 percent of it, anyway.

Woo hoo! Exciting! *high-fives you* Does it involve lots of towels falling off at opportune moments?

I wish you didn't have a million things going on right now so you could relax and enjoy the process. *hugs*

Yes! My 70% visualized contains 7% towels falling off, 8% shower scenes, 20% car porn, 30% angst, and 5% some demon chick.

I also wish I didn't have a jillion things going on. But really, if i can get an outline banged out and then get back into a disciplined writing routine... well, I'm hopeful. I did it once, right?

That's right! And you can do it again. :)

I'm supposed to say something positive and thought provoking about how you should think things thru before you take on this additional project, since you're obviously already overtaxed.

But who am I kidding. DO IT! Please, please.

As the Tinman says, "I hope your tail holds out". :-)

lol. Pep talks and "DO IT" entreaties help. Truth is, I want to be writing, but haven't been excited by what I've been working on. So maybe this will help get me back in a more productive swing of things.

Discipline and priorities, these things are key. And having the slightest clue what you're trying to do; that's also useful :-)

Thanks for the encouragement!
