I just started watching Lost Girl and WOW no one told me Anna Silk looks like Kate Beckinsale.

(I love Kate Beckinsale. Like, yeah.)

My reaction to the first two episodes was a cross between a 13-year-old girl meeting Justin Bieber and... and... an owl lolcat (it's the eyes).

I really hate to rain on your parade but don't get your hopes up. Zoie Palmer is missing from a few episodes and is barely in some of the others. Bo also treats her like crap after 1x08 because she is ~emotionally undeveloped~ or whatever and the show is brushing over Lauren's situation because of...Dyson.

yeah for a love triangle it is pretty much one sided D: We all know Dyson is a poor choice for Bo when you have the fantastic Dr. Lewis as an option.

I still don't know what to think of this show. It's so ridiculous and corny and downright bad, but then there's girl!kissing and girl!sex and boobs and...! Yeah, it makes lovely background entertainment when I'm at my computer. :p

I think you have accurately summed up my future attachment to this show. I basically like it so far because of Anna Silk's prettiness and Zoie Palmer's voice.

From the comments so far, it sounds like I'll get annoyed and frustrated if I get too attached to it so it's probably a good "switch your brain off" show!

If you are a ZP fan, you will LOVE episode 6. Lauren is HBIC throughout the whole thing and Zoie Palmer rocks every scene she's in (and in ep. 6 she's in a lot).

I think episode 7 had a decent amount of Lauren, and episode 8 has a lot of Lauren, but it ends on a pretty angsty note. But again, ZP is AMAZING in it.

Sadly, though two episodes are pretty much it in terms of Lauren screen time. She IS in almost all the episodes, but for the most part it's a cameo.

Just saying, if ZP is your main draw be prepared for constant frustration because the show seriously underuses Lauren.

All right! I'm mainlining the show so far and should get to those episodes by the weekend.

I have to say that Anna Silk is, like, draw 1A and ZP is draw 1B; it's preferable if they come as a pair but as long as one of them is there, I'm easily pleased. Although I anticipate a lot of fast-forwarding when Dyson is on-screen.

Well, you definitely get plenty of Bo throughout the series. Sometimes you'll want to hug her for ever, and other times you'll want to kill her in the face, but either way there's always a lot of Bo.

Although I anticipate a lot of fast-forwarding when Dyson is on-screen.

Your thumb/clicking finger is going to get a lot of work. There is a lot of Dyson in the series (though usually in smallish chunks). Be prepared to fastfoward through 75% of episode 11 though, lol.

Have fun mainling! Despite my ranting the show really is like crack to me these days, so it should be great to marathon.
