Uhm...so I was looking through my pokedex trying to figure out some things that happened when everyone er...fell asleep, and I came across this!

[she holds up her pokedex and it says Espeon! The Sunlight Pokemon]

I was wondering where I could find one of these! She's adorable!

[and Xatu pokes his head over her shoulder.] ...Oh, and Misty says

That's right, Maria. You'll evolve into an Espeon when you get older, so work hard until you read that level.

[Maria nods her head and moves away from the screen to reveal the trainer to be Aerith.]

Espeons are really cute, aren't they? You'll need an Eevee to evolve one, but make sure the Eevee loves the sunlight because it will evolve into something else if it likes the night time.

Eevees aren't usually found in the wild. In order to get one, you'll need to find someone who is willingly to breed you one.

[Maria will pop up and look at Carly happily. She likes your glasses!]

[Aerith will pet Maria's head.]

I got my Eevee from a breeder. She hatched from her egg a few weeks ago, so she's still a baby. Once she's a little older, then I am going to breed her. [She tilts her head.] However it might take a while....

Yes, that's right. Her name is Maria. I named her after a special friend that I made in this world.

Don't worry. Take all the time in the world. I think my travelling group will like to stay in Goldenrod City for a little while. I'll keep an eye out for the day you challenge the gym leader. Maria and I will be rooting for you if you decide to record your gym battle.
