Carly's info Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds information Arc involving Carly up to the pull point. Question for the mods: Can Carly keep her deck? I'm assuming it doesn't count as a weapon, and she'd only use it for fortune telling. She had it on her when she's brought here.
Affiliation: She's gonna marry Jack Atlas and they'll be the best Duel couple ever! She'd be a trainer.
Personality: Carly is very hyper. She has a lot of motivation, but things rarely work out for her. She spazzes frequently and it makes her seem like she's not a big deal. But, with just the right amount of determination, she can find answers where no one else is looking, especially when she wants to defend those that she cares for. Just...something bad usually happens when she hits bullseye (be it she gets busted and then “murdered” death? In my childrens' card games? Never.... or everyone assumes that Jack's dead when he's not.)
Before ending up here, Carly worked as a reporter. She always has her camera on her just in case she finds a story to chase. She's worked with a camera long before then: when she was young she took pictures of her friends while they dueled. She always want to see people around her succeed, and is willing to put them before herself. And it's not just in the sense of seeing their success: she will outright risk her life for those around her.
So it's no surprise that Carly has a passion for celebrities: a crazy stalker type of passion. She barely knew Jack Atlas face to face for five minutes, and was already plotting her dream of marrying him and bearing his children. It can get borderline obsessive at times: she will stalk the everliving shit out of someone she's attached herself to. She seems like the type to jump between attaching to people. Hours before she met Jack face to face, she was gushing over Misty, and used her as a resource. Much like the typical teenybopper, Carly's taste seems flavor of the week rather than sticking with someone (or at least, at this point in the show). Still, she's innocent, naive, and a bit on the crazy side. But everything she does is with good intentions.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Carly's huge on her passion. When she wants to find something, she will go out of her way to make sure that she finds it. Carly has no problem with breaking into government buildings with the pure intention of “it's for the scoop” or “it's for insert any kind of famous guy/girl here Jack!” And therefore it's totally okay. Her way of getting in here that also works as her strong point? She's amazing at disguises. From a nurse's outfit, to a janitor, she could get into those high end establishments to get her scoop BECAUSE she can seamlessly fit in.
Unfortunately, she may look the part, but her biggest weakness is her spaztastic attitude. If questioned, she'll freak out: resulting in stuttering, poor excuses, and just letting her guard down. She may think that she's gotten away with it when they walk away, not taking into account that someone could just come back and easily bust her.
And she's cocky like that, thinking that she's good at something when she really isn't. She puts too much faith into one simple strategy and doesn't realize the huge flaws in her plan. For example: in route 29, she might get all psychic pokemon and not anticipate that someone's ghastly could easily take them all down.

First Person Sample:
[As the screen comes up, it appears to be held upside down and pointing at the ground.]
Ah! Is it on? That's not how it should-
[she turns it around, and there's a psyduck looking at the screen, hands to it's head and just asking “Psy~?” and then it focuses on her face.]
Uhm, can anyone tell me where I am? I didn't exactly wake up here! I mean, I think I'm supposed to be dead! Is this where dead people go?
[pause. Wait for it. Wait for it....]
OH MY GOD AM I DEAD? I think I am! I must be...it's not like you survive falls like that...
So this where you go when you die! Is this...duck, dead, too? Hey, Duck! Are you dead?
[Psyduck blinks and turns around to do tail whip, “Psy?”]
...That doesn't tell me anything! And why do I have a camera
Third Person Sample:
This had to be a joke. It just had to be.
Frills upon frills came out of that back pack. She felt like this dress was never going to end at this rate, but finally she pulled out the last of the skirt. It was a big white poofy...thing. No way was she going to wear this. Carly may have a thing for frilly sorts of dresses, but this?
“This is way too short!” she said to no one in particular. Psyduck was standing a few feet off, holding it's head as she'd noticed he always seemed to do, and tilted his head.
“Psy?”
“I said,” she liked to talk to her pokemon, it made her feel like she wasn't so alone. In reality, she'd have talked out loud regardless of if she had a Psyduck there. She really liked hearing herself talk, “that this is too short.”
By then, Psyduck had waddled over to look at something else and she left Carly sitting there and pouting. Well, what else could possibly be in the bag? There was a skirt, but surely she wasn't just going to be wearing a skirt...
With a little more careful rummaging, Carly pulled out a dress. It looked like it would be awkward to wear. Unless...she glanced at the poofy skirt, and back to the dress.
Now, Carly may not be the brightest light bulb in the package, but it didn't take very long to realize what this was all about. After all, Carly chased celebrities and idols all the time to try to find a scoop, she'd seen this kind of outfit before.
“They want me to wear WHAT?!” she screamed, once again, to no one in particular. An idol's outfit? Carly got the scoop on idols, she didn't want to be one!
Although...maybe if she could be an idol, she could get closer to Jack! And if she could be closer to Jack...good things could happen! Really good things. She was blushing and giggling like a little school girl at the thought. And the more she thought about it, the more awesome this idea sounded.
So she picked up the pink, yellow, and white dress and went to try it on.
