WHY DO I ALWAYS GET TURNED INTO ANIMALS OF SOME SORT?!

...

Thank you for taking me in... Yuuko-aneue...

[Screened to OU!Seimei Aoyogi]
I'm part of the way through that book you recommended me, as there wasn't much else I could do while being stuck as a bird. It's... interesting.

Miss Yuuko. Don't you like animals?

It should be very cultural for you.

I like animals just fine! Just not being them!

Cultural?

Is it that shameful?

Educational. Important and proper to learn.
I believe you are unique enough to understand it.

[[OOC: Uh, let's just say that Seimei gave Yuuko a book about a girl who liked ruining people's lives lulz O___o]]

Huh? Shameful? No~ you've got the wrong idea! The first time I got butterfly wings in this place, I started getting messages from dead people and had to deliver them all over! And just this past week, I was stuck as a bird! I couldn't speak or do anything! Not to mention the other Yuuko had to be the one to help me out...

Hm. Well, there's a certain freedom about it that could be considered enviable, that's for sure. Were you just waiting to recommend this piece to someone, and I happened to fit the bill?

Did you notice I have ears? I have a fondness for birds Yuuko, as I do for the dead.

Hardly enviable, required. There are those who are weak and cannot handle it.

And they were very cute looking ears at that~ yes, I did notice. Like I said, don't get the wrong idea. You don't seem to have any drawbacks! You're so lucky...

Required, is it? If I didn't know better, I'd almost think you were concerned I was unprepared for something.

Do you want ears aswell?

Are you preparing for something?

I hadn't really thought about it.

I don't know what to prepare for. This is the longest I've ever been in one place my whole life. I keep expecting to disappear, but every day I wake up and I'm still here.

[startled pause]

I... I never said I was useless... there are just those here with far more talent expertise. There isn't any shame in recognizing your own faults... right?

So I've been told.

Or maybe you're so practiced you no longer have any faults.

Are you flattering me?

Oho~ but having no faults isn't a compliment. What makes you think it is?

Faults are imperfections yet humans desire to be as much.

Faults are the standard by which we measure our successes.

Even Juliette in the story... without knowing the value of life, how can she understand taking it?

To have no faults is to never accomplish anything.
