Fire damages Greensboro apartments From Staff Reports

GREENSBORO -- Fire damaged a multi-family home Wednesday night.
Firefighters were called to 713 Summit Ave. at 10:38 p.m. after somebody called 911 to report the fire. When firefighters arrived, they found a fire in the living room. The fire was marked under control at 10:57 p.m.
Damage was estimated at $10,000. The Red Cross was called to the scene to help the residents in five apartment units inside the home.
An overturned table lamp sparked the fire, according to the Greensboro Fire Department. No injuries were reported.
