I hate Vancouver right now. The Canadian postal system is a joke. And MrClean008 on ebay is a douche.
What do these things have in common?
Well, I bought an XBox 360 a few weeks ago. And as everyone knows, a high definition gaming console works pretty crappy on a standard low resolution TV.
So I bought a 720p high definition digital projector. A really good model too. I paid my $750.99 with paypal a few minutes after I won the ebay auction and was promised by the seller that he'd ship it as soon as he can. Since he's in NYC I assumed 3-4 day wait till I had my high def wall.
Turns out, that "as soon as I can" doesn't mean walking to the post office. It means waiting for the projector to come back from the last guy he tried to sell it to.
Which was over a month ago...
In Richmond, British Columbia......
The projector sat on a shelf in Richmond for 3 weeks "being processed" and didn't move until 3 days AFTER I paid. Now it's in Vancouver being processed for return to sender. Where it has been for the past week.
I was nice and gave the guy an extra week and a half to place the projector on my door even though he lied to me (ships in 2-3 days my ass). If it's not here Friday I'm going to be even more pissed.
