mubarak had said, 'there is only a thin line between freedom and chaos". and this is exactly what is happening in egypt.
:(
Citizens linking arms to protect national heritage just five days after the first violence erupted we've already seen mass-comm shutdown, military vs police, the whole arab world being thrown into chaos and the usa not knowing which side to take for the sake of diplomacy. this is probably one of the more humane news that's actually heartening in the wake of all these events.
war is cruel =( and humanity never learns from its past mistakes.
it happened to baghdad, now maybe egypt will lose its 5000-year old heritage to a moment of political unrest.
tragic.
over 60 rape cases have been reported, and Egypt's national cancer hospital for children also was stormed and THEN now there are rumours of people trying to torch the prisons. wtf. why can't the international community do something about it? the whole arab league will descend into anarchy soon, especially since Egypt was always the leader of the region. If Egypt goes, so will the rest. They need some sort of order now. The protesters have no clear leader, no clear direction except that they want mubarak out. but what will happen after that? there's no clear leadership in the protesters but mubarak himself will not do anything about this entire crisis.
the whole world is just watching egypt burn.
>:( why cant anyone do anything about it!!
