You can always tell the state of my work life by how clean my house is. If work is going fine, then I come home chipper, wake up in an awesome mood and I want to clean, clean, clean! If work sucks, then I come home exhausted, emotionally drained, and I just want to sit down and do nothing. I sleep until I have to wake up and then drag myself to work.

Well currently I am in a bad-state at work. I would seriously take high school over this right now. There is just so much drama going on at work that I am just looking at it going "Seriously?!?! Why?" And then I have to deal with stupid people asking stupid questions. "What does it mean when the oven says 'Too cool?'"  (Duuuuuuuh), "Carrie, why isn't water coming out of here?!" (turn on the taps, and maybe water will come out?) "Carrie, the Frappe machine is saying 'product out, do not serve', what does that mean?" (...Do I really need an explanation for that one?! Come on now!) Then I have to deal with Chloe and her stupid idiotic self. And nothing is ever Chloe's "fault". EVER. She's one of those people where if something goes wrong, she's the "perfect" one and everyone else is at fault. Yeah...in her own little world. I seriously almost walked out of that store crying one day because of her. But I was not about to cry because of her. Hell fucking no is she going to get that satisfaction. And then there's Kristen getting bitchy because she was arrested (theft, the idiot) and it's spreading around the store. She's trying to blame Erin for telling everyone. Here's the thing: She already told half of the god dammed store before Erin found out. Erin just figured that since everyone else knew, she could say it loud and proud as well. Well Kristen's leaving us for another job, and Erin has made it clear that she is not welcome back if she wants to come back (Kristen said she may come back, when she put in her two weeks notice) and now Kristen's getting bitchy and freaking out at Erin. Her words from Facebook
U did me dirty. U shuld be the one i can come to, not the one to spread my biz around. Thanx a shit ton.
Huuuhhh....maybe if you didn't tell the entire night shift and overnight shift (...I wish I were kidding on that one) your "biz" wouldn't be spread. She's always been the one to air out her dirty laundry though to the entire store and then wonders why everyone thinks she's a slut.

I keep looking for jobs, but it's hard to find a job that will support what I need. I have a "meeting" tomorrow at Bankers Insurance at ten, and I'm relying on the buses to get there. because I can't always rely on my parents to drive me, plus they said it could take an hour or so, and I am not about to have my parents wait that long. It's one of those interviews though, where you apply online and the computer automatically wants you to set up an interview with them, so it's a very prelim interview. Only time will tell.

In other news, I found an amazing place! Well actually Joe found it. It's called Cumming Nature Preserve, and it's down by the Finger Lakes. We went there on Saturday, after doing an overnight and getting no sleep) and I just absolutely fell in love with it! As soon as we got out of the car, I told Katie and Joe to be quiet and just listen. What were we listening to? Absolute silence. No cars, no people, and best of all, NO MCDONALD'S. I cannot tell you how peaceful and relaxing that one moment was. I wish I could go back there tomorrow, but things have to be done tomorrow, and no one to go with.

Well I'm going to go now, and try to take a nice relaxing bath before putting myself to bed. I have to wake up bright and early tomorrow, take a shower and run off to my "Meeting"

With that, I shall leave you with a couple of pictures that we took at Cumming (yes, it really is named that. Yes, we did enjoy making bad jokes about it. I'm just too drained mentally to crack more jokes)

This is the view leading into the trail we took. Absolutely beautiful.

We stopped at the Beaver's dam observation post and this is the view from one side of the post

And the view from the other side. There's the "beaver dam" that has since been abandoned.

Holy lillies! Can you spot the birdie?

and last picture: Katie made a very daring picture by lowering the camera from the post down to the water and using the timer on it. She was praying to god she didn't drop the camera.
