(no subject)
One day down, one more day to go. Last night wasn't so bad at work, thankfully. I was kind of freaking out because Brandon decided to do a No Call No Show like he was threatening. I told him last week that he would be fired if he tried calling off or not showing up for New Years eve and he basically said "Well it will be worth being fired over" He was upset because god forbid he didn't get off on new years eve. He never requested it off. He assumed that since he worked a couple of other holidays, that he would automatically have new years off. Umm...you are working for the epitome of corporate evil; do you really think we are going to do that? We have never, ever, ever had that rule at my store. Sure Gwen tries to do it with the managers, but...it never really works out that much.
Thankfully though it was fairly slow. Compared to what I expected it to be, at least. However Brandon, who is one of our good workers, is probably going to be let go. At best, he will still work with us, but with a really long suspension; that is if he didn't quit first. Though 99 percent chance that he is fired. I seriously hope he does not show up at work in the next few months because yeah...the whole overnight staff might want to go apeshit on him.
I still have tonight to go through though.
With this sudden burst of warmth, I want to go hiking. It sucks, because obviously I can't, seeing how it's JANUARY and the middle of bum fuck winter! Yarg. Oh...yeah, Happy New Years. My new year was rung in by people puking on the drive thru pad. Wonderful, right?
Anyways, I think I might take a wonderful bath. That sounds amazing......yeah, I'll go do that.
