Oh my god, I have two things that just totally made the end of my day.
One: I was helping Kristen pack up so she can move, and we had a McDonald's trash bag filled with, well, trash. Now, McDonald's trash bags are notorious for always ripping, since they are thin as shit. They are probably thinner than the cheap ass bags I use (the cheap ones that you get 100 for like, five dollars) But they are HUGE. So Kristen was saying how she would have to take it outside because it was so full it wouldn't fit down the trash chute that the floor shares. I shrugged and said "Eh, I'll still try"
Well it seems as though my eyes deceived me. I picked up the trash and tried to get it down that chute, but that was just so not happening. Maybe about a tenth actually fit. So I shoved harder. Nope. By that time I knew the bag had ripped, so there was no going back. It took me ten minutes, a lot of laughing, and shoving inch by inch, to get that down there. That poor trash compactor had a hell of a time working on it, I can tell you that for sure. But I was laughing so hard I could not breath.
So number two, is by far the best in my opinion.
I loaned out my steam cleaner from Kristen awhile back. I don't have a car to easily transport it back to my place, and getting other people to drive over there is just too much of a hassle (coordinating everything, making sure people actually want to do it, etc). However, I really wanted it back, especially since Kristen is moving out soon, and my rugs are DISGUSTING! Now, I've been debating if I should just drag it down the street, but I thought "Nah, plus what if a cop tries to pull me over going 'what are you dooooing?' " Plus I live a half hour away, walking.
Well today I broke and went "I am taking that sucker home!", so after much laughing, I started on my merry way, dragging my steam cleaner (the thing is not tiny, it's a bissel steam cleaner) down the street behind me! I was about to walk into the Tops parking lot, when a car stopped by me and rolled down their window. I thought it was just a random person who was either about to question me or ask for directions.
Nope. It's my boss. Erin just looked at me and started dying of laughter. Imagine the sight of me just walking down the side of the street (there was no sidewalk where I was) dragging this big huge thing behind me like a bag lady. Yeah, cracks me up too. I just busted out laughing, I could hardly explain myself. Well Erin had to run off, since there were cars starting to come up behind her. I continued on my walking. Erin thankfully was nice enough to give me a ride after she picked up the deposits from work. I know right now she is telling Serena going "....I just saw Carrie walking down the street with this huge thing behind her!"
My god it totally just made the end of my day.
