So, having not eaten a decent amount of fruit in months, I decided to make a stop at a local fruit store while I was at Shoin high school today to stock up on some. Now, the owner of this store is REALLY nice and can even speak English (I've gone to his store quite a few times), so we chatted for a bit after I had chosen my things. He showed me a picture of his niece, who's studying in Tokyo in college, together with an American boy who's also studying there. Honestly, my first thought on seeing the guy was "Woah, he looks like a total player." You know, one of those guys who's only real intention of studying abroad in Asia is to play around with Asian women. :/
Anywho, so the fruit shop guy said his niece had a question/problem, and wanted to know if I could help. A little wary, I said yes...
Fruit Guy: So my niece text messaged this guy on his cellphone asking, "Do you like chocolate?"
Me (to self): Ok, so far so good...
Fruit Guy: And his reply was something very sexual!
Me (to self): And there it is... -_-;
Fruit Guy: So my niece is worried that she said something wrong in English!
Me: No, no! Her English is fine...but this guy is probably a hentai. You should tell her to be careful...
Fruit Guy: Oh...really? This guy is her boyfriend and I think she really loves him.
Doh! I thought this was just someone she was friends with who had other things in mind, not her boyfriend already! Otherwise I wouldn't have called him a hentai. Bah, hopefully this guy doesn't go ballistic on his niece or anything. >.> Stupid American boys, jeesh...
