Hello world
It's stupidly late but I've finally mustered enough presence of mind to get myself on here to let everyone know that I'm not dead, missing, or that I've forgotten about my LJ and everything I've been working at on here.
It's been a trying last two months, and though it was originally school and making sure that I passed my classes with exemplary grades that took me away from writing and updating, it also quickly became battles with work, a cold, Thanksgiving vacation, then a flu, then Christmas vacation, and now pneumonia. I'll never regret finally hauling myself to the doctor after spending a week coughing every few minutes and being short of breath, and thankfully I'm out of the worst with just a day left on my antibiotics. Still... not something I wish to repeat anytime soon!
Now that I'm on the mend, hopefully for awhile to come, I'm extremely grateful for all the comments and support and continued interest from everyone. Even if I've been remiss with updating or having trouble thinking clearly through all the fevers I've been enduring lately. I've got my cheerleader on hand and I'm feeling good about knocking out the last few editing updates and then finally getting the sequel for Post Hoc out for public consumption.
And though school does start in exactly a week, the start of a new semester hasn't managed to stop me from writing yet! I think, really, it's just the pure joy of knowing that I'm going to get back to doing what I love to do, with a clear head and without all this mess popping up around me, that's got me excited the most. Oh and sharing my wealth of crazy imaginings with all of you :D
P.S. I marathoned all 8 Harry Potter movies over the Christmas break in 24 hours and it put me severely in the mood for Slytherin!Harry stories, which of course sent me down the slippery slope of Harry/Draco, and now I need recs! Hit me with everything you've got :]
