[ December 5th ] Long Live HM King Bhumibol
For those of you who do not know this, King Bhumibol is the King of Thailand. Every 5th December, we, Thai people will celebrate his birthday. You will see more than 500,000 of people gather together in one place, waiting for more than 10 hours just to see his face for 10 minutes when he comes out of the palace and waves to his people.
Foreigners always do not understand why we love our King so so much. I don't know how to begin it either. He has done so many things for his people, went to visit them no matter in what condition they live in or how dangerous the path to the village is. He will be there just to hear what the problem of the poor villagers is and find every possible ways to fix the problem. Rumor has it that the disease that he still has with him until nowadays was from one of the villages he visited long time ago.

The first one is an ad celebrating HM the King's 60th anniversary of accession to the throne, which was a couple of years ago.
Click to viewThe girl in the video asked why she had to wait for such a long time just to see HM the King drove past her and the villagers and also wondered why everyone had a smile on their face. What were they so happy about?
In the end, she learned that HM didn't just pass them, but also saw his people and their problems along the way he went.
The guy who participated the HM Celebration Marathon wanted to be the winner but as time went by, he learned that the point of participating in this event was not winning it but how this event gave them a chance to look for other people.
