today was the first day of classes. admittedly, the only one i've actually attended so far has been my piano class, and i'm now killing time until my audio equipment maintenance class at two thirty. thursday is piano again, and recording arts I.
my piano teacher seems pretty cool. it's easy to tell if an instructor is going to be a dick or not by end of the first class session. hopefully all the rest of my instructors are cool as well.
needless to say, i'm excited. i've been putting off the move to mira costa for about a year and a half now, and i'm finally doing it. i feel better than i have in a long time. with school finally starting again, a lot of the uncertainty about my future seems to be fading away, and i'm finally coming out of the fugue that i've mired myself in for the past few weeks.
things are looking up, and that makes me happy.
