T^T

WHY IS THIS SO SAD (BUT SO GOOD)? The last few lines are brilliant and Yama is very sadly in character, oh geeeeeeez. <3 Just brilliant.

Thank you!
I can't write anyting but sad stuff. (And I'm doing a crack-ish request. I'm gonna die!)
I'm glad you think he's in character. Yama is actualy pretty easy to write, just make him smile and you have a story.

I've always considered blindness a terrible impairment, but oh man, this line:

“Your smile. I only got to see it once, I wish I could have seen it more often.”

.. is just so heart-wrenching. ;_;
Awesome job.

I read this one just before going to school, and, well...
I must admit the words kept going around in my head all day long. Really, you have a gorgeous writing. Some metaphors really struck me when I first read it, and I could just speak them aloud hours after I had read them. It's so rare for me to memorize turns of phrase. dogs cry tales of loneliness, The hand on his watch echo his heart beat and he doesn't even need to look to tell that its past midnight, And throwing caution to the wind or the redundancy of It is night, for instance. I really loved them.
And well, writing put apart, I really loved how you dealt with the prompt. The “Your smile. I only got to see it once, I wish I could have seen it more often.” was heart tightening. This is a so bittersweet, yet beautiful conclusion. I wouldn't mind reading angst all day long if it were from you, ah ah!
Well, so I'm looking forward to your next fics, obviously! Thanks for writing this one anyway!

Thank you!
I never thought that people would like my writing so much, especially because I can only write angst. I am very glad you liked it.
I am planning to have more fics up soon.

Thank you so much!

Love the watch and the heartbeat part.

And wow, I was expecting angst, but this is like the sort of violent angst that slams one in the gut (in a good way). ;________________; And Yamamoto's good and steady humor somehow makes it even angstier.

(Since I kept pondering about Yama's right eye's eyesight deteriating over the years after that chip from Squalo, what happened here was quite a shock.)

You are very welcome.
I'm glad you liked it. Yamamoto does that, he makes the funny stuff funny and the angst more angsty.
(Ah! I'd forgotten about his injury but I can see that happening. Acctualy I may write that too because it's an awesome fic idea.)
