One little thing, though: formatting messed up! You made something italic near the middle of the fic and the tag didn't get closed right so the rest is all italicized, too.

And thank you for pointing out the markup -- I saw it as soon as it posted, but then my Firefox decided to be a lameface and completely locked me out of LJ. I had to switch over to Safari, which was running very slow, but it should be fixed now :)

I love you, and also this fic.
I've developed a charmed fascination with Tony's culinary experiments thanks to the the last movie, so I really liked the pancake motif you've got going here. Trust him to keep a dubious stockpile of whipped cream on hand, too. ;)
I'd quote back all the things I loved about this, but it would pretty much be the whole thing. It's good to see them have this conversation. You're good at balancing the mixture of angst and fluff, and the end result here is very enjoyable.
One thing -- you've got a markup problem that turns everything italicized to the end, but other than that? Just gorgeous. Fabulous work, buddy. :D

And yes -- if it takes the man three hours to concoct an "in-flight meal," there must be a thorough investigation into his culinary expertise ;)
Hopefully, though, if the balance of angst and fluff was to your liking here, the excess of fluff that makes up most of the rest of this story will not be too terrible ;)
Finally, I believe that the markup has been corrected; I saw that there was a problem when it posted, but then my Firefox went crazy and refused to load any Livejournal pages, so I had to start Safari, which was being uncharacteristically slow. Alas, the wonders of technology.
Tony Stark could have fixed it.

It's really sweet, especially the end promise. I'm looking forward to the other twelve.
