Tony doesn't need a fire to keep warm, can harness the heat of the arc reactor when he needs to, emanating out -- but when he's got these two knuckleheads curled up around him in front of the hearth, it doesn't hurt to have a real flame or two to ward off the thoughts of mountains, of friends and falls; of blue-shades and brothers and giants of ice: with these two here with him, it never hurts to throw another log on the fire, to keep those thoughts firmly at bay.
