I want Dean to just really, really give it to Sam straight for once, no holding, just laying it all bare. I want them to bitch it out, maybe land a few punches but then get the fuck over with it, because it hurts seeing them like this and it's starting to hurt watching old episodes where they are good together because I know it's going to turn ugly.
I really, really liked the premiere, but if I hear Sam saying one more time that he knows Dean (and Dean doesn't know Sam, like Sam said several times before) I'll punch through my TV. If he'd really knew Dean he'd have known that Dean doesn't just want A family, but HIS family. It can get extended, and it did with, Ellen, Bobby, Lisa, etc. but Sam and John have always been the core. The reason I'm writing it out here, is not because I mean to wank, but because I really liked this part “Happy?” he asks, incredulous, a little crazed [...] and he’s smiling, almost smiling except not at all, and Sam would notice that if Sam still knew him.(I'm not saying Dean's all perfect, but ( ... )

This is absolutely everything Dean should've said to Sam. Gah. *wibble*

I know something is wrong with Sam, but the 'demon not affected by the regular rules' wasn't what I thought, but maybe it could be something like that...

As for the 'demon not affected by regular rules' -- I'm not necessarily convinced that's the case, either; I was more alluding, albeit very subtlety, to the last time Sam was "brought back," and the taunts Dean endured as to whether Sam was "100% pure," as such. It's really meant to be up for interpretation here, either way, so take it as you will :)
