What would you do if you were given a ticket to see your favourite team in a major final (lets say Brazil in the World Cup final) and the match just happens to clash with your wedding day?

There is this guy in my lab who has a similar problem - except that his wife might deliver a baby on the same day as the World Cup Finals and he is still deciding about buying the ticket. Actually, there is also a deal involved: at his wedding, his wife had promised him the world cup finals ticket. Considering how hard they are to get... it is a Situation. What would you do?

Hmm the devil's alternative. Sounds a lot like a situation where I heard about the wife telling the guy that you either be present at the birth or better not be at home when I arrive.

Of course, with this thought on both the couple's minds, I can also easily imagine the girl smiling sweetly holding up the ticket and just daring the guy to take up the offer

I also imagine that next, he grabs the ticket and runs, thinking he can always make up later, but the match would of course not repeat. I would agree with that choice :D

for the woman, I am sure the baby part would have been really tough. For the guy, it would feel almost the same :)

Get the doctor and the wife and make her deliver in the staduim. And , yes this time he can actually yell gooooooooool! and mean something else....
