Friends of mine are trying to get Oakland to go much further. Land has been identified for a tiny homes encampment (it's small land, so eight tiny homes and a common house). Some of the funding is already in place. Bigger projects are under consideration.

Berkeley's situation right now is shameful beyond description. Thanks for sharing this.
