I meant this. [And he holds up the Rocket letter.
He's... probably not supposed to do that, huh?
Anyway, a beat, before he removes it from the screen.]
What do you mean... "world"?

[He's immediately distracted by the letter. He squints at it, not really able to read the whole thing--but the huge R and the words "Team Rocket" are enough for him] I didn't get that when I first arrived...[Bites his lip, picking his words carefully]

[He knows nervousness when he sees it.] Don't worry, I have no intention of joining them. [I AM. A LONER.]

It's odd that you've gotten the letter when many of us haven't, though. [He's thinking this over quickly, trying to decide what this new information means] Do you have any idea where you are?

Not a clue, really. But there's a little... furry red thing following me around and I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

That would probably be your pokemon partner. Everyone receives one when they arrive in Johto. [Curious, now] What does yours look like?

This. [And he points the camera down so it's looking at a vulpix. sitting on his foot]

[Smiles down at the vulpix on the screen] That's a Vulpix, a fire type. [Then, he goes right back into Business Mode] Right...since you're new, you probably haven't gotten a chance to look at your pack. [Pauses, remembering that this man's arrival in Johto differs from the others quite a bit] That is...if you have a pack.

Yes, it's... over there. [He gestures at it.] I looked through it. Everything I had with me but the clothes on my back is missing. [... which causes him to frown. He had a portrait of his uncle in his old bag ;A;]

If it isn't here with you, it's probably still back in your world. [He nods at the pack and holds up his pokedex] Did you see something similar to this?

Yes. It seems useless.

It's called a pokedex, and when you point it at a pokemon, it gives you information. There should be a book in the pack somewhere, as well, but the pokedex is usually a quicker way to find out what you're facing.

I don't really care about these Pokemon things. I care about finding a way back.
