I understand that for the price of a spendy meal, I could buy all the fixin's and the equipment to make it myself, and spend 2 hours cooking and preparing all the food and then wash the dishes myself afterwards.
Guess what? I go to restaurants because I don't like doing dishes!
If you're going to criticize the way /I/ choose to spend money, that's your problem, not mine. Yes, i know I could 'cook fondue in my own house easily' but I would also have to prepare everything, buy food for the courses, chop food, and then clean afterwards.
TL;DR; going to Melting Pot for birthday dinner tonight.
