I Call The End
Spoilers underneath the cut for my predicted end to this season of TVD so for everything through 3.21. Warning this was made a mere few minutes after 3.21 and it may not be coherent? Some review of this current episode, but mostly just my prediction for the end.
Some vampire gets back in time to save Elena be it whoever. To save her they give her vampire blood to heal. Hopefully it's not Damon because I don't want to go back down that line again, but whatever. I think it's pretty clear at this point Stefan and Damon are in this to the bitter choice with Elena.
Since Klaus can no longer go skipping off into the sunset with his Doppelganger I can't have the ending I want.
So we have an Elena with vampire blood going off Wickery Bridge with Matt. Who wants to bet on Vamp Elena with amnesia thinking it's right after her parents died? Because I do. Or she'll only remember Stefan who rescues her.
I do not want Vampire Elena. Not yet. There is so much hope for her character. I was so proud of her today. I love me some Elena. I also do not want Amnesia Elena so this ending does not make me happy. She grew through her relationship with Stefan and Damon and forgetting would really be a disservice to her character. There would not be much squee if this is how it ends. I would not know what they would do for season four.
My TVD fic got Jossed to hell and back again, but it still makes me happy so I'll finish and post it.
Oh, and of course the newly advised Founding Family counsel will stone the Mayor and Liz and the season will end with all our beloved characters having to flee Mystic Falls for their life. Maybe next season they can take back the town from Alaric.
In my thoughts on this weeks episode let me add that the celebration of Klaus's desiccation was so wonderful. It was so sweet to see them all hang out together as friends like they were before. I do have to say I called the head injury. Really, who leaves someone with a head injury alone? The brothers together were awesome too. I don't want the brothers to separate.
I also think it's interesting to note that Damon thinks Elena will never turn. Notice the 60 year time table? He wants his brother back really so Elena being human fits well because apparently they decided no third wheel in the brother bond. Stefan didn't object to it either so he still doesn't want Elena to turn.
What if they reject vampire Elena? How sad. Then her and Caroline could be fabulous sister vamps together and go off to college. Bonnie would so be happy to see the back of the Salvatore's and they could be fabulous girls together. Maybe someone should write this. Not me. And Rebekah could hate stalk them because Klaus is at the bottom of the ocean and now she has no family and they look like they're having fun...
So many feelings.
In other exciting news-Best Buy is having sale on all CW shows and related spin offs (SPN anime) where everything was 19.99. Including Blue Ray DVD's. I now have the last season of Supernatural and Season Two of TVD.
Both shows were picked up for another season! So many good things.
In less happy personal news-Chris got called into work last night meaning he's working 60 straight hours. Sleeping alone for three nights is no fun. I only got married to have a warm person sized pillow, and I object to its frequent absence.
