so i guess i finally did go out on that "date" with vincent.
it just happened sponteneously, we were at the gym
and he mentioned he had to buy dog food but doesnt know where and it just so happens
that kev asked me to drop off this package (from the states, from our aunt)
at our cousin's in valle verde
and it just so happens
valle is just a hop skip and a bad-taste-in-my-mouth away from tiendesitas
and (again) just so happens that there a petshop there (jojo and i used to drink at tiende, so i would know)
so there plans were made and there was sweet fruition of said plans and
while we were laughing at our synchronous realization of
what a ridonkulous first "date" it was i told him he should
just come over and we'll throw kevin (whos still a stranger to him) a 2TALLY AWESUM OMG WB party!! cos we're
already here waiting for 2 orders of baked clams why not make it 6, grab a
bottle of tequila, coupla bottles of mojitos --- theres a store pretty nearby the house so beer will
overfloweth, my pizza hut card has 2 months left before it expires so everything should
be
good.
dude said yes ok he's in but he prolly has to stay over
if hes gonna liquify his liver with all the pre-planned tomfoolery
and i said i have clean sheets.
ithink tthe best part of the party was not how awesome it was, not how grateful and giddy and special kev felt, not how everyone seemed to like vincent off the bat
even max (who hates everyone i go out
with cos he thinks
theyre stupid), nor was how proportioned the drunkeness/satiation ratio was at the end of it,
it was either of the three, let me enumerate:
- hauling the drumset out to the terrace at timot and kev's request and rocking out to tricky's council estate WHUUUTTTT
- everyone shirtless, popping our lungs out to mr. roboto and originalically ... doing the robot
- getting to make out with vin in the corner a little bit while beyonce's crooning about my ill-sized ego all bone-wet with beer and sweat.
