Making a tough decision
I heard today from one San Jose Unified School District. I did not get this instructional associate job at the school i applied for however i did get offered a temporary 4 week associate position at another school and if that works out i would have ot apply for a position and probably get a position. However I have a commitment that i have to deal with already and that makes it hard for me to go for this job even though the school pays less per hour its a full time job that I still need to consider and I really made the decision and i feel that i need to honour my commitment to wvc and turn down this job offer. I think working somewhere else that involves helping people is a good thing and there are plenty of industries where this happens like banking or in admin assistant positions at the universities or in foundations that help gain monetary support for universities.
