For Nottingham: A Historical and Robin Hood BBC RP
For_Nottingham is a medieval and fandom rpg, and is history_haven's newest affiliate. The setting for our game is 1193 England and its based around the BBC show Robin Hood, though we have a MUCH stronger emphasis on historical accuracy than the show. Most of our players are fic writers who have a keen and active interest in medieval history, and research is eagerly shared and discussed. A treacherous Sheriff plots the death of the king.
A noblewoman flees from her husband, seeking sanctuary with a brother she hasn't seen in sixteen years.
A gang of outlaws prepares to battle for the rightful king.
A squire is sent on a deadly errand by his master.
A mercenary finds the chance for revenge against an old foe.
Their stories converge, plots and personalities clashing as allegiances are revealed and causes are pursued.
Everyone has their own agenda, and no one knows who to trust.

Prior knowledge of the show is not necessary and we welcome OCs as well as canon characters.
We're especially looking for people to play Djaq, Little John, Thornton, and others who might be able to help the outlaws in their cause.
