If no one can answer this, that's perfectly okay, but here it is:
What are the debates about the timing and extent of European predominance in the world economy?
Then tricky part about this is that it gives no specefic time period. The only thing I can really think of is the Columbine Exchange or perhaps the Silk Road. Any thoughts?
