Big news from the world of history...
Today marks the 20th anniversary of the Chinese government's response to the Tiananmen Square pro-democracy protests and hunger strikes.
Today will no doubt go down as an historic day for other reasons as well. President Obama became the first United States president to address the Muslim world. Hopefully his speach will have alasting impact and truly become a turning point in Mid-East relations both between the US and the Muslim world and with the various factions in this embattled region.
New Hampshire also makes today's list of history making events. Today the New Hampshire legislature voted to legalize gay marriage in their state. Huzzah for laws that guarantee equality and dignity for all!
