Had a fantastic weekend. Details to follow on the morrow.

Okay, so that took forever.
Anyway! Had a great holiday weekend hanging out with my Dad. Went out to a cool little cafe on Friday night and ate some fantastic food. The cafe serves specialty sandwiches and pizzas, along with having an extensive selection of beer, wine, cider, and malts. We had a great time reminiscing and just flat-out enjoying ourselves.
Saturday we made breakfast, caught up on some TV episodes and watched movies. Don't remember what else was involved. Sunday I had to work, but Monday was more of the same. There was breakfast, then we ran a few errands - Gamestop, Michaels (for pumpkin carving equipment!), etc. Afterwords we made stroganoff! From scratch. Using our own recipe. It turned out amazing! With a good thick, flavorful sauce, and tender pieces of beef. (Will post recipe later.) Also, I think there was home-made popcorn and a movie, which was a great way to end the weekend.
Almost forgot! Some where in there I also discovered this old show from the early 2000's called
The Invisible Man, which has been way too much fun to watch. It's still very much a 90's show, with the "punk" attitude and CGI (not to mention the script! and the clothes!), but it is so worth watching just for kicks. (Edited: 10/13)
