This is a House fic set in Ancient Rome - I read it a while ago but I remember it being extremely well-written, and well-researched. :]

Thanks, putting them on the list! Not sure I fully understand what you mean though - do you mean fics where the action has been transported into the future, rather than the past? I'll check with my co-mods :)
