NaNoWriMo

Have signed up to do NaNoWriMo this year. For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, it's a challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in the 30 days of November. I've had the plot for my historical novel stuck in my head for well over a year, so this would be as good a time as any to actually give myself a metaphorical kick up the backside and write the bloody thing! Actually, I'm quite looking forward to it.

I know that in previous years, some people on my flist took part in NaNoWriMo. Are any of you doing it this year?I know some people on Twitter and Facebook who are taking part.
