so now i'm totally done with my thesis. my mentor gave me the enhorabuena, which means congrats, so i bind two three copies and mail two of them tomorrow to nyu in madrid. finally. so i finished my master's in less than a year, and i think that's pretty nice, even if i'm in debt up to my eyebrows. oh well. next up, phd applications. oh god kill me now.
in other news, i'm kind of living in the napa valley now. i'm trying to find a job down here because i can't find one in siskiyou county, surprise surprise. i'm looking in sac, yolo, napa, sonoma, etc. counties. whee. i need a job bad. anyone know of any work down here?
meanwhile, i'm living with dago's family, which is cool and not all at the same time. you know how it is. it's never going to be like living with your family, no matter how much you like them. plus, i'm carless and completely dependent on dago for transport. whee again. i miss public transportation SO MUCH.
the lappy is pretty much dead. i have to move the power cord around to get it to charge, and even then, it's getting harder and harder to charge it. mom mentioned buying me a new one. i feel like a schmuck to just take it, but i want a new one anyway sooo bad. i think i ishould.
on the other hand, my ancient ipod came back to life, so that's good. too bad i usually listened to it in my car. lol. i still love it and am really happy i can take an ipod off my list of stuff i want:
