[This kidnapping business had Hinata very worried. Why had the authorities not been called? Why was there no letter or phone call stating the ransom terms? Why was everyone on the train talking about going and fighting that thing somehow? Hinata just did not understand.
She wasn't like them. She didn't have any kind of special power or ability. She wasn't combat trained or knew how to make explosives. Possibly the only thing she knew about this situation is that it was a kidnapping, and she understood those pretty well. But this wasn't like any of the ten times Hinata had been kidnapped. She didn't know what she could do.
So, out of the need to do something, Hinata sat on a bench outside the girls' dorm with Waka (tied to her back) and Tono (in her lap), scrawling out all of her thoughts in a letter to Shiro that she knew she couldn't send.]
