Just when Soren thought a certain incident was behind him, Itakura lands a low blow and brings up that one time Soren was a girl.
Soren enjoys some fun banter with Lavi. Things take a strange turn when an apparent 'friend' shows up and holds a blade to Lavi's throat. Until payment is promised, however, Soren isn't going to intervene.
Trapped by mistletoe, Soren is confronted by Stefan.
Let it never be said that Soren isn't willing to co-operate with Ranulf. Providing death is the only alternative.
He's not, however, willing to co-operate with Itakura. Because Itakura is a dick.
With Kanda absent, Soren and Lavi manage to have a relatively civil conversation. They're both very good at prolonging things and ignoring the actual problem at hand.
Soren finally succeeds in getting Ranulf to admit defeat. Victory! Sort of.
Both Ike and Soren say things they don't mean. And there might be a little violence involved as well.
