[ Although he might not be saying much, this guy is totally staring at Red and his apparently animated backpack. It's not like he's got anything better to do for the rest of lunch, anyways. ]
[Red doesn't notice, he has bigger things to worry about. he's dealing with such a fussy eater over here; every piece of food he offers is immediately spat out. should Squall look closer, he might notice a flash of yellow as whatever's sitting in Red's backpack shifts inside, watching its owner as he reaches over for his carton of milk.
out of the corner of his eye, he notices the other teen watching him. that's...kind of unsettling. good thing Red can be just as creepy with staring, too.]
[ He would be the perfect creeper if he actually wanted to be.
So, he's guessing the guy brought his pet to school. Probably a rule violation, but it's not like Squall was going to care about the rules of this place. He didn't even really care about them back home really. Instead, he'll slide the only part of his lunch he hasn't apparently eaten already over to Red. Just a bag of sunflower seeds. Maybe it'll like those? ]
[...wow, not what he was expecting at all. Red stares unblinking at the other boy, then looks back down at the pack with mute curiosity. for a minute, it almost looks like he isn't going to take it until he slowly slides his hand over to grab the bag.
they aren't berries, but they're close enough. he opens the plastic bag and pours a small amount into one hand, then raises it a few inches over the bag. whatever's inside of it shifts around for a bit before it pokes part of its face out, sniffing at Red's hand with its little black nose.]
"Piii~"
[it starts to eat out of Red's hand, greedily. as for the boy himself, he begins to smile.
[ Squall will give a casual shrug in response. Content with the critter's response, he'll... go back to staring off into space like before. Except he's still apparently listening to Red. ]
[having eaten all of the seeds from Red's hand, Pikachu starts licking his paws. satisfied, Red sits back and pours more seeds out, then looks over at Squall in interest at that next comment.]
