He's been staying with Percy while he decides what t do with himself, and he's been trying to work up the gumption to go talk to his brother. He hasn't talked to Bedivere since he left, not that they talked much before then except to yell at each other about the one's drinking habits or the other's failure at being a proper knight. Now he's finally ready, but Bedivere's off elsewhere.
He goes to his brother's house anyway, in case Bedi's gotten home, or at least to leave a note in the usual spot under the ale tankard. He knocks on the doorframe as he goes in. "Hello? It's Lucan; anybody home? Bedi?"
