Day 3 continued
Wow where to start?...
9:30am. I woke up to Mikey telling me to wake up, that him and Amelia found deer.
I don't want to leave my warm cozy bed, and I don't really wanna see deer..
But finally I wake up and realize, holyshit, I DO want to see deer!
I throw my jacket and boots on and head outside with "food" for the deer.
(Gingerbread cookies and lettuce)
After walking a bit, we come to a clearing where lo and behold, there's a big group of deer gathered together.
They were really timid for a while..
Mikey and Amelia wandered one way, and I decided to see if I could get close to a nearby doe and fawn.
I walked toward them slowwwwly barely breathing.
I outstretched my arm towards them...
Turns out the doe LOVES gingerbread cookies.
I couldn't hand-feed them to her fast enough!
She even stuck her big wet nose in my camera!
After a while, we decided to head back to our cabin.
Just as Mikey and I round the last corner, we see Amelia feeding tortillas to another doe and fawn.
Of course Mikey and I had to join in.
After thaaaat. We came back in and became bored again.
Mikey decided to give me a full facial. (No you sicks, not that kind of facial)
I learned a lesson.. I need to use pore strips on my nose on a regular basis...
Next was breakfast. (Are you getting tired of reading yet?)
Amelia made pancakes, bacon, and eggs for Mikey and I.
It was all pretty delicious.
So delicious, that Mikey ate himself into a food coma and fell asleep.
Amelia and I decided we'd go for a walk to the corrals where the horses are, since we were still wide awake.
My goshhh those horses were SO sweet.
We fed them lettuce and hay until we just couldn't anymore.
I of course went trigger-happy with my camera and took lots of pictures of them.
After that, we headed back, and woke Mikey up.
(Over an hour and a half had passed)
We then hopped in the car and headed to an archery course nearby.
I have never, shot anything from a bow..
I made a complete idiot of myself trying to do the simplest things.
I couldn't even pull the bow all the way back to fire.
Eventually I got it figured out.
In the end, we all made it back to our cabin un-scathed.
We then headed out on a mission. (This time on foot)
We climbed rocks n stuff and ended up at a ditch, where a car had fallen into yearssss before.
I took a few pictures then we headed back.
Played Uno. Played Rummy. Drank a little vodka. Watched a little Rush Hour on vhs...
I dozed off on the couch and woke to Mikey and Amelia almost finished preparing dinner.
Ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, and cheesy garlic bread.
Om nom nom.
We played some more rummy and finished Rush Hour.
I got sick. (Must have been something I ate?)
Then came back to them making me chug my drink.
(They play a game where if someone burps and you're the last to do a gesture, you have to drink)
Mikey kept burping..
Later on, we started watching Practical Magic.
(It was 2 of 3 movies recorded onto the vhs)
Mid-movie, Amelia disappeared into her bedroom to "change into pjs" and never came back.
Mikey and I finished the movie and retired to our bedrooms.
Soo here I am.
Reflecting on our day today.
I look forward to coming home tomorrow.
I miss my Mom, other friends, my bunnies, my home, technology, etc.
I guess I'm gonna stop writing 'cause 1. I've written a lot already, and 2. I need some sleep...
