What am I thinking??
On Tuesday night, I babysat my new niece who's three months old. Liv is 20 months. I thought that it would be a nice way to kind of figure out how things will be when Speck arrives.
OH.MY.GOD. I don't know what I'm thinking here. Anyway, on Monday Livia fell down an entire flight of stairs, from the top of the basement steps to the hard cement floor at the bottom and I didn't catch her. :( So she was miserable on Tuesday anyway, AND she started coming down with allergies, which made her double plus ungood to deal with.
My niece was fine till it was time for her to eat, then I had Liv sit on the sofa with me while I gave Ilana her bottle. Liv calls her Nana. too cute. :)
At any rate, the baby hit her fussy point at about 6:30 and that's when Liv really kicked in with the whiny needing mommy bit. She wouldn't eat dinner, she wouldn't look at books, nothing. ~ARGH~ I tried to eat some dinner myself, but ended up not cooking anything except three chicken tenders and I ate two of them in napkins, while standing at the stove.
If nothing else, this will be a GREAT weight loss plan for a while.
I realize it was all the planets aligning just so against me, and I think Liv is good when she's feeling good, as we all are. It was just a weird night. :)
