[Now it's not that Hisoka's missed Draco or anything stupid like that, but by coincidence and sheer coincidence alone, he might be popping up at Draco's lake not very long after the entry hits the journals.]
That ice probably isn't sturdy enough to hold your weight. [He always brings such cheer with him.]
[Turns his head slightly at the sound of that voice, and hey, that slight upturn of the mouth? Totally your imagination, Hisoka.]
You better not be implying I'm fat, thank you very much. [He turns his whole body though to start heading back to the shore, the little wisps of silver occasionally taking form before fading again as he walks.]
I didn't get this good-looking just by being born. Oh, wait. [He smirks slightly but soon realizes that Hisoka's attention is elsewhere.] Hm? Oh. Hold on. [He soon reaches the shore and the silver mist is completely gone. Give him a few moments...concentrate...] Expecto Patronum! [And because he's in the presence of someone he actually enjoys and can briefly focus enough, the coyote pup known as Padfoot reappears. The Patronus is probably actually assuming he'll see Harry, so when it's Hisoka that's there, he stops and sits on the ground, staring up at the newcomer.
Strangely enough, Draco trusts Hisoka enough to actually see this.]
[He's actually finding this pretty funny.] Don't be a prat, that's not what it is. Actually, he's a coyote, and he's a Patronus. They're a sort of protection charm in our world.
How exactly do you expect that thing to protect you from anything? [The WTF face hasn't gone away yet. Animals are confusing in general, let alone magic ones.]
[Draco watches as Padfoot starts to creep forward, much in the same way as his first approach to Harry.] Remember what I told you about the Dementors...?
No. Well, they can be, I suppose. The Patronus basically is a shield. Remember what I said about the Dementors basically sucking all of the happiness out? The Patronus is made of this...warm sort of energy, I don't quite know how to explain it. Basically, a shield type just protects you. But the corporeal kind, like this guy here, can actually drive them off. [Padfoot keeps on creeping forward, yipping slightly.]
Everyone's is different, based on the person. Apparently the Patronus is part of who you are. Not so sure what this says about me.
[He holds his ground against the Cute Puppy Who Likes to Stalk, but jumps a bit at the yipping. NONSENTIENT THINGS SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SPEAK.] Are they all so... cuddly?
[...okay, sorry, Hisoka, but Draco's going to snicker a little at the jumping. Padfoot meanwhile stops a few feet from Hisoka's foot and just staaaares.] No. That's what I mean. I don't know if you've noticed this, but I'm not a cuddly person.
[Hisoka bends down to examine the thing more closely. He's faced both bigger and tougher things without batting an eye, and HE WILL NOT BE UNDONE by a perky little canine that just happens to be oozing something he can't quite name.] I didn't think you would've had this much happiness in you either. You're full of surprises.
[NEW PLAYTHING AHHH. Padfoot's going to move closer, sniffing at Hisoka curiously. For a sentient thing, you sure are curious there, coyote pup. Padfoot's busy radiating positive warmth energy, but as soon as Hisoka says that, he flickers slightly while Draco's thought process is jarred.] No...not really. I'm the happiest when I lie to myself, it seems.
[He's visibly not okay with Padfoot's sniffing and general clingy animal-ness, but he doesn't resist or protest it, primarily out of curiosity. The flickering is interesting, though.] Say more about that.
[He's watching Padfoot carefully to make sure he doesn't attack or something. Again, Padfoot stops and sits, just staring up at Hisoka and waiting for him to do something interesting. Draco just shrugs though.] To create a Patronus, a person has to think of a happy memory to use. But in some cases, if you can convince yourself of something enough to fill you up with happiness, it still works.
That ice probably isn't sturdy enough to hold your weight. [He always brings such cheer with him.]
