I feel as though the Japanese had the right idea in making Valentine's Day strictly for girls. At least the men there get to put off this ridiculous holiday for another month

[It's only fair, as Hisoka has his own share of experiment making things all warm and happy on his end. It's weird. Makes him kind of nauseus, tbh.] You really didn't have to bother with gifts.
...I wasn't entirely sure what you'd want to read, so I selected something from my own world. [It's pretty childish. Remember that one time that Draco recited the story of the Deathly Hallows under a tree? Yeah, Draco found a copy of the Tales of Beedle the Bard. Because I don't think he ever gave it to Hisoka.] A bit ridiculous, but fascinating all the same.
[I love that Hisoka has like, no happy icons. Even so, Draco can probably tell that Hisoka's happier than usual. And that in itself pleases him.]
I thought you would. Despite what my mother did, my father didn't want me reading them when I was younger because of the lessons taught in it, but reading it now has been rather...enlightening.
[Happiness is anticanonical for him! Fuck all this smiling.]
It's weird how that's been happening lately. I've been reading a sonnet book all day -- would've told you it was trash last week, but tastes do mature over time.
[As long as Draco doesn't mind a Tsuzuki tagging along. Hisoka's putting him on suicide watch after this. CONSTANT SURVEILLANCE.]
I think they're from someone in your country, actually. [And Hisoka will now read aloud some of themost insipid of Shakesperean love poetry. I cannot tag it with a straight face so it is getting handwaved. It's a terribly passionate reading, though.]
[Nah probably not. He's grown used to the Tsuzuki-shaped growth Hisoka carries everywhere.]
Really? [And he's just going to listen. ...must be a Muggle thing, because he certainly doesn't recognize most of it and I am a terrible person for cracking up immediately upon imagining this.] Quite eloquent, wouldn't you say? But only the best from the English.

...I love it. [And this event is so OOC for him I don't know where to start with icons. Have the default.]

Sonnets. [Normally he'd make fun of him for that, but he's actually interested today.] What kinds are in the book?
