It used to be. The days have grown peaceful after the last battle that took place decades ago.

You still have a London? I've heard of it, saw pictures my tutors had.

The capital was left in shambles during that laughable "war", however it was already rebuilt and restored to its past glory.

Is there not a London in your world?

It's mostly destroyed. Overpopulation in England was terrible after the virus was released, rioting and gang warfare tore most of the country apart.

What areas are inhabitable in your world, Mara? I imagine most capitals and metropolis had a similar fate.

Some of the larger Cities have been reclaimed either by the Order, mostly in the former United States. My Enclave is located in New York.

Is that still as large as it used to be?

Probably not, parts have been converted into farmland and food production during my lifetime, but I wouldn't know. I have little idea what it was like before.

Tall skyscrapers, neon lights, ample Boulevards, and certainly not a farm settlement anywhere in the vicinity.

There must be a picture of the metropolis and capitals in the library. Take this City, it's dwarfed by places like London or New York.
