Impatiently Waiting For Skip Beat Chapter 181
So in my revived enthusiasm for the series, I have come across something that I am now aware of has been missing for some time:
Point Stamps
What ever did happen to those stamps that Kyoko and Kanae had to get for being in the Love Me Division? They kind of disappeared after Kyoko took care of Ren when he came down with a cold in volume 6. The last time I saw her get a stamp was when he gave her "100 marks" and then subtracted "10" out of jealousy lol. Well, not that I care much, but perhaps it's due to her being busy with actual actress work and taking on more complex projects (e.g. taking care of Hizuri Kuu, acting as Setsuka Heel, etc.). In any case, they kind of disappeared and it's now twenty-two volumes later lol (soon to be twenty-three, there's supposed to be a new tank published in the next coming weeks).
And I think now I'm fully aware that this series is really FAR from over lol. There are lots of loose ends to tie up and I don't see them being resolved anytime soon at least not in 2011 and possibly not 2012 lol.
1. Kyoko and Mommy Issues (not much is known except that the Mother doesn't seem to care for her at all)
2. Kyoko and Sho's unresolved conflict
3. Ren and Kyoko's relationship hopefully becoming one that's romantic (I love this pairing)
4. Ren getting over his past trauma
5. Ren being able to return to his parents as Kuon
6. Kyoko possibly figuring out that Ren is Kuon... but this would be pretty sad if Kyoko lost her entire fairy kingdom type of mentality
7. Kyoko becoming a top-notch actress
8. Kyoko learning to love again, I suppose this correlates to #3, but like Takarada said, she's like the final ultimate boss in a test
Now, things that I would love to see are Kyoko and Ren acting on par with each other as main leads to a film, but this would have to be pretty close to the end of the series, I guess. It would be cute to see Kyoko with Kuon's parents *__* I would like that very much.
*sigh* I know I'm really anticipating this next chapter, but I can't help, but think that I'm going to be teased again and then have to wait another two weeks in utter agony as the fates of my favorite characters hang in the balances T__T Ah, this makes me really sad now, I'm already going crazy for chapter 182 and I haven't even seen 181 yet lol.
