World Trade Center

Went to the movies with Iris this morning ^^ and she was dressed so cute XD. She brought me back some green tea cakes, yummy ^,^ Got lots of little treats from Taiwan too ^^ We saw World Trade Center together and it's not bad, it didn't really meet my expectations as much, but parts of the movie did look impressive. It's sad at a lot of parts to me especially when we watched the towers crumble and such. There was one part that I found absolutely funny, I'm sure Iris would agree with me XD. The movie was done by Oliver Stone and it definitely did give off a feeling that it's one of his movies ^^; Not sure how to explain it, but it felt like his movie.

Saw a lot of previews for upcoming movies. The Black Dahlia looks kind of scary and there seems to be a lot of movies with Scarlett Johansson in them for this upcoming fall/winter (or early next year). But yeah, The Black Dahlia looks positively frightening, or maybe I should say... grotesque =.=; and why does it catch my fancy so much? No, not my fancy, more like it's so morbid that it's piqued my curiosity. Not sure I want to see it on the large screen though 'cause it's so scary looking. I do want to see The Prestige though with Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and Scarlett Johansson. That one looks pretty good *___* One Good Year with Russel Crowe looks pretty good, and then there's this movie with Sean Penn, Kate Winslet & Jude Law that kinda confused me as I was watching the trailer. Anyhow... I really do want to see The Prestige ^^. I would go see Black Dahlia if I have some brave friends who want to attempt it with me and I don't mean... just one other person, I'm talking about group of people =.=; I really am scared of movies that are based on grotesque, unsolved murders and such.
