Ok, so I was depressed, but now... that's out of the window~!!!! My Fujimi artbook came T,T <-- see the tears of joy~ OMG, the artwork is just so pretty, though I must say... I really liked Nishi Keiko at the beginning of the series, but towards the more recent stuff, her style just changed quite a bit. I really liked her older style, but ah ( Read more... )

Oh ho ho~! *sneaks into your livejournal after noting the Fujimi related entries*

I agree with you so much!! I just about died when I got the art book, I love it so much, but I really don't care for Nishi's later style. It's still pretty, just not quite Fujimi. I was actually a little bit sad when Fujimi switched artists though, although Gotoh Sei is quite talented as you say. I just love Nishi's early style soooo much. I just stare at it. AHH! I'm sorry to barge in, I'm just very happy to see someone else as blissful about this book as I was. *sparkles profusely* Good taste!!!

LoL ^,^ Barge in anytime~ Recently, Fujimi is basically the only thing my mind revolves around -- other than school, final projects, exams, etc ^^. Ah it's so pretty T,T <--tears of joy. I die every time I look at the artbook, it's so pretty. When Fujimi switched artists, I was really upset at first, because I don't handle change too well, but once I got used to Gotoh Sei, I fell in love again XD~ I miss Nishi, but Gotoh's very talented and the artwork is really nice, not too sharp or soft -- I'd say just about the right touch. My Fujimi manga came yesterday T,T <--more tears of joy. I almost decided to stay up and read it over and over again, except I had a quiz today lol ^^; so I had to force myself to go to sleep -- but I read it this morning when I woke up early enough XD~ Oh, it's love~~~~ *sparkles nonstop* I feel like I have to jump and huggle someone now XD~ *floating in the air out of pure happiness* *pounces and snuggles* XD~ Ok, now that I got started... I have to go and read the manga again XD~

Yes, I understand how you feel! I think about Fujimi at least once a day for 5 minutes. And YES, I too got rather upset when I saw that Keiko Nishi had been replaced. But, like you, I got used to Gotoh Sei pretty quick (it wasn't hard) because her style is cute. I love the way she draws Yuki. I don't care as much for the way she draws Tonoin, but that's alright. Her styles pretty good, and I too have been taking turns between studying and reading Fujimi. Such is the way of Fujimi (addictive)! Yaaaayyyyy I'm happy to meet someone who understands the addictiveness of it. =3

Yes!!! I agree! I love the way Gotoh Sei draws Yuuki~! I didn't care much for Kei either, but I thought Yuuki was just so adorable. At first, I wasn't sure if I would like Kawashima's new look compared to Nishi's version, but I found Gotoh Sei's version a little more appealing for me. When I listen to the drama cds, I can't really imagine a drunk Nishi-version Kawashima lol ^^; but I can try. I like Nishi's Kei better than Gotoh's Kei, but I like Gotoh's Yuuki and Kawashima, a little more than Nishi's versions of the two ^^. I hope Gotoh Sei continues doing the manga T,T I can't survive with just one volume~ lol.

Yeah yeah! I agree! I feel the same about the different artists! ^____^ I really like Kawashima because she's on Kei's side all the time instead of being annoying about it. I love her voice when she's drunk. It's really amusing! Yaaaay~ *bounces around*

I love Kawashima drunk~!!! She's so funny when she's drunk on the drama cds, I absolutely was in love with her. She was cute lol ^^. I'm so glad that Kawashima supports Kei and Yuuki so much. In the typical manga/novel scenario, the woman who gets scorned usually comes back to make the main characters' lives miserable ^^; I really like how she can admit defeat in a sense, and not only that, but be completely supportive of the two's relationship. It's pretty refreshing compared to some other stories I've read where the one who "loses" always comes back to stir up trouble. ... I feel like I should dig up my Fujimi cds now to listen to them lol ^^
