Considering the time of year this question is asked, I'll say that for me it means:
"Oh man! How come the people up North get a snowy Xmas?"
I don't really mind though. Having an Xmas by the Barbie is just as good. I also means beautiful warm sun, lovely swims at the beach and, of course, silently teasing Northern people about their snowy Xmas. I'm sure that they avhe fun though.
But what winter really means to me (when it comes around of course) is rain. I love rain. Unfortunately, the place I live in is too warm to snow, so we just get rain. And it pours down on us. It also means flooding though, which isn't really a good thing. About 2 years ago there was a bit of a flood, so only like 7 people were in my class. And it was raining during lunchtime so we had to stay inside and I ended up chasing this guy around the classroom, trying to attack him since he made some smart-arse comment to me (which I can't quite remember what it was). It was mainly a joking thing though.
Fun times. Hope something like that happens next year.
