My USA summer

Okay, so now i have an english auditory of at least one person, so i'll definitely post in english here :D
So, I promised him to write something about my work this summer.
Here I'll let explain myself a little for those who might not know me and therefore not know this because i haven't written anything here. This summer (and a bit of fall too) i live in USA. It's a cultural program called Work&Travel USA, so, the main concept is earning money yourself and then spending them on traveling.
For me, it is also a very precious experience since this is actually my first time working. Aaand I work at McDonald's :D
At first I was extremely enthusiastic, probably even overenthusiastic sometimes XD So, like, I was a workaholic who would try working during my break as well XD Because, my psychology is like 'oh no, that should be fixed, how can i sit here and do nothing'. Well, even now I keep bringing trays from the lobby before returning to work actually. There is a special computing system that tracks everything - you clock in when you come at work and clock out when you leave. The same thing with the break. They pay us for every minute we work. The break is designed to be half an hour, and i usually return after 20 minutes, because everything I need is to eat. No, I don't really get tired. But it is compensated by the fact that we usually come 10 minutes late XD Our record was 3 minutes late :D We were NEVER ON TIME, lol. Nobody really gives a damn because our shift is the morning one, and people sleep at 8 o'clock. Usually they start coming from 9-9.30 a.m. Sometimes our shift starts at 9, and I don't really like those because it's less convenient. You could think that 'how come, you get to sleep an hour more', but here the advantages end. For example, on a weekday we have break at around 11-11.59 am, not depending on time we got in. Moreover, it's also empty in the store from around 15.30, we usually take care of things at that time - bring everything that is missing from downstairs and so on. So, if we got in at 8 am, we get out at 4 pm, but if that was 9 am, it's only 5 pm. You can really get bored at that time.
Okay, returning to my changing attitude. Sure thing, I made some mistakes - everybody does them. The first two days were total disaster, but everybody was kind to me and said I'm doing great and that i will learn eventually. From the third day on I was absolutely confident in almost everything :D Ah, I forgot to mention that my first day of work was 4th of July - imagine the amount of people that day... And I also forgot to mention that I'm standing on the register, toking orders from the customers. Despite that 'third day' talk, it took some time to get to know all the hidden rules and laws in our hierarchy. I find it really amusing, actually. That exact experience I was craving for. One drop in an ocean, to be precise:D And when some girls from the other McDonald's came to us to work for a day (dunno why actually, probably instead of someone who couldn't come that day), they were terrified because here everything was different from the way they were used to. I, from the other side, could see what they were doing wrong, because I know the rules. Truly amazing.
It's also interesting to gather data on the managers XD Every one has their own rules and principles as well. You can't do A in front of one, while other will actually do the same. Interesting, how everything is organized and how everything depends on everybody - and I love the feeling of being important. Okay, I think I'll stop here, but the main idea was that I enjoy my work experience throughout ♥

Now, about the traveling part. Everything started from LA and You&Jin concert, of course ♥ And this is indirectly connected to why I'm writing this post, because that's where I got to know my precious friend:) I won't write about that, because that was long time ago and I've already written everything in russian XD
Then the fabulous Las Vegas and beautiful in its austerity Washington, DC. Quite a journey, isn't it XD Now I'm anticipating don't-know-yet-what New York ♥ The final point is gorgeous, yeah. The whole summer is:P
