Model making for the sake of cinema.
I got on this kick to try and build a model starship. I'm making out of a bunch of found junk around the house. The design I'm going for is going to be similar to the Antares type freighter, though I'm not going for anything close to a movie quality prop.
Though it is like to be used in a movie....
I've had this itch to do a fan film for ages, and if I'm going to start it, this is as good a beginning point as any. I've got an idea which I think I can make work on a no-budget. I'm thinking about a 10-15 minute short, going with a very sweded look (much like the look of Sweded Star Trek, though maybe a bit more effort to hide the wires. The effects aren't bad for what they are, and I think I can manage that with just the camera and Windows Movie Maker.
