Been getting the Jonathan Creeek series through Netflix the past few weeks. It's a fun mystery series about an illusionst's prop builder who partners up with an investigatve journalist to try and solve inexplicable crimes. The crimes tend to be relatively easy, but the characters of Johnathan Creek (Alan Davies) a rather smug, House-like genius inventor and Maggie Magellan (Caroline Quentin), a downright neurotic true crime writer. The two character each have their flaws and their dancing around their mutual attraction is half of the game. The series was produced by Doctor Who creator Verity Lambert and features guest spots by both Colin Baker and Peter Davison, also interesting is Anthony Stewart Head's appearance in the first episode as Jonathan's employer the smarmy womanizing stage magician Adam Klaus.

Overall, the series has been quite fun. I'm in the middle of the second season. It seems the Christmas specials done for the series have not been included in the DVD set, I might have to hunt those down in the near future.
